Gift Boxes and Wine for delivery to New Zealand
White wines (actually light green to light gold in colour) come from uncoloured grapes or from the juice, not the skins, of red and black grapes. They are more subtle in taste than red wines. People generally prefer them with lighter meals and with white, not red, meat – although this isn't a rule. The usual glass narrows at the top, to concentrate the "nose", that is, scent. Serve white wines, they say, at 7 to 10 degrees.
