Placing an Order

I can't select a delivery date - what's going on? arrow-icon

First, make sure you’ve entered the delivery address by selecting it from the drop-down address finder. If the address is in an area where some products can't be delivered, a message will pop up. Also, some areas don’t allow same-day delivery, so those dates won’t show as options. And if you're sending a Gift Box, keep in mind they need a few days' notice, so same-day or next-day delivery may not be available.

The address I want flowers delivered to isn't showing up in the drop-down box - what should I do? arrow-icon

First, check that you’re in the right section of our website. If you’re trying to send flowers overseas, head to our International page and select the destination country first: www.interflora.co.nz/international. If you're sending to a business address like a hospital, try using a different street number or variation of the address. Make sure the company name is entered in the designated field – this helps our florists know exactly where to go. If the area can’t be delivered to, you’ll see a message saying we’re unable to deliver to that city.

Where do I put my card message? arrow-icon

After you’ve entered the delivery details and continued to the order summary page, you’ll see a box labeled “Message Card.” You can choose a pre-written message or write something personal of your own. Don’t forget to sign your name so the recipient knows who it’s from!

Where do I apply my discount code? arrow-icon

You can enter your discount code at the final step of placing your order, on the order summary page. Just look for the discount code box below the delivery instructions. Want to stay up to date with the latest offers and promos? Make sure you're signed up to our newsletter!

Can you do special requests, like including or leaving out certain flowers? arrow-icon

Yes, we’ll do our best! After you’ve selected the flowers and entered the delivery details, continue to the next page. There you’ll find a “Delivery Instructions” box where you can let us know any specific flower requests. Our florists will do everything they can to accommodate your wishes.

Do you need special information for funeral/bereavement orders? arrow-icon

Yes, it’s important to include the full name of the deceased so our florist can confirm the funeral details and ensure delivery to the service.

I didn’t receive my confirmation email - what should I do? arrow-icon

First, check your spam or junk folders – and if you’re using Gmail, have a look in your Promotions tab too. If you still can’t find it, just get in touch with us at orders@interflora.co.nz and we’ll be happy to send it through

What credit cards and payment options do you accept? arrow-icon

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Afterpay – so you can choose the option that works best for you.

Do you accept Afterpay arrow-icon

Yes, we do! You can select Afterpay at checkout to split your payment into easy instalments.

Can I pre-book flowers to be sent at a later date? arrow-icon

Yes, absolutely! You can choose a future delivery date. Your order will be sent to the Interflora florist closest to your recipient, who will handcraft the arrangement on the day of delivery – so the flowers arrive fresh and haven’t had to travel far.

Is alcohol available to send with my order? arrow-icon

Alcohol can only be delivered by Interflora florists who hold their own liquor licence. Rules around alcohol also differ in other countries. In New Zealand, some of our Gift Boxes do include alcohol and can be ordered if you're 18 or older.

I'm having difficulty placing my order - what should I do? arrow-icon

Delivery

What are the delivery costs? arrow-icon

For deliveries within New Zealand, standard delivery is $15.00. If any extra delivery fees apply based on the location, the total will update once you’ve selected the delivery address from the drop-down. For international orders, delivery is already included in the product price.

What days can I get delivery in New Zealand? arrow-icon

We deliver on weekdays (excluding public holidays) and Saturdays in most areas. Deliveries aren’t available on Sundays or public holidays – except for Mother’s Day, when we always deliver.

What’s the latest I can order for same-day delivery in New Zealand? arrow-icon

To get same-day delivery, place your order by 2:00p.m. on weekdays or by 11:00a.m. on Saturday (NZ time), where possible.

When will my flowers be delivered? arrow-icon

Deliveries are made throughout the day and into the early evening by our florists and their couriers. While we do our best to deliver promptly, we’re not able to guarantee exact delivery times.

Do you offer tracking? arrow-icon

We don’t currently offer live tracking on orders. However, you’ll receive an email notification when your flowers are with the courier. From there, they’ll be delivered that day – deliveries can arrive anytime up until early evening. If you’re ever concerned your order hasn’t been delivered, just get in touch with us at orders@interflora.co.nz and we’ll look into it for you.

Can I get confirmation that my flowers were delivered? arrow-icon

You’ll receive an email letting you know when your order is on its way. While we don’t send out a separate confirmation once delivery is complete, we’re happy to check with the florist if you’re concerned. Just email us at orders@interflora.co.nz and we’ll look into it for you.

Can you deliver to hospitals, rest homes or care facilities? arrow-icon

In most cases, yes – but it can vary depending on the location. For example, Christchurch Hospital does not accept any flower deliveries. We recommend checking directly with the hospital or care facility before placing your order. It's also best to choose something in a container or water-filled box for easy care. If a delivery can’t be made, we’ll get in touch as soon as possible to offer alternatives or arrange a full refund.

International Delivery

Can I send flowers overseas? arrow-icon

Yes, we deliver to most international destinations. To place an order, you’ll need the full address (including postal code) and a contact phone number for the recipient. Your order will be sent to the Interflora florist closest to your recipient in that country, where the flowers will be hand-crafted on the day of delivery – so they arrive fresh and never have to travel far. If for any reason your order can’t be delivered, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to make changes or arrange a full refund.

What countries can Interflora deliver to and is delivery available to any location for international deliveries? arrow-icon

When do I need to place my order for overseas delivery? arrow-icon

For same-day delivery on weekdays, place your order by 3:00 p.m. For Saturday delivery (available in some countries), get your order in by 11:00 a.m. Please note that deliveries aren’t available on Sundays or public holidays.
